The Nest Kitesurfing

Situated in the South-Easterly coast of Rodrigues, facing the huge lagoon of Mourouk Village, The Nest Kitesurgfing school proposes its services to kitesurfing lovers since January 2008.

The overriding goal of our devoted team is to welcome and offer our best quality service to our valuable customers who visit us on the spot.  

Unless the main activity of the club remains kitesurfing, our team feel the need to care for the entertainment of our visitors during their stay ensuring that they enjoy their holidays successfully.  It is always a pleasure for us to guide our visitors to other leisure activities such as fishing, snorkeling, diving, excursions and other tours to visit the attractive sites around the island.  We also organize lively evening party with barbecue among others...

Youl, the kitesurfing instructor in charge of the club, trained and IKO qualified, together with his team, are almost excited in sharing their experience to charm you with their passion.

Passionate or beginner in kitesurfing, the team will give you the desire to discover the great and strong sensation of kitesurfing in the huge lagoon of Rodrigues.

We undertake kitesurfing lessons and organize downwind sessions on different spots of the island for those who venture for more and more strong sensations, grouping adventurous around a barbecue or picnic on nearby desert islots situated in the south-east lagoon and contemplate the landscape of Rodrigues island far from its coast.

A minimum of three (03) sessions per two hours lessons is recommended to beginners. We propose attractive package of ten hours lessons which enable beginners discover the wonderful adventure of kitesurfing activities. 

The learning duration time will depends on the beginner's ability to learn and adapt to this sea sport activity.

The club provides equipment and kitesurfing materials to its customers and welcome those who are own-equipped, for lessons, advice or security assistance among others...

The rental and sale of kitesurfing materials are also available at the Club shop.

Our instructors and team trained in First-Aid, are permanently present to ensure assistance during the learning period and planned or self downwind.

Kitesurfing is possible all year through, depending on the generosity of the nature in term of wind.  Summer and Winter are the two seasons of our tropical island and the windy weather being more present during winter period, between  April to End of August (April, May, June, July and August, it is, however, most recommended for kitesurfing activities during this period.

Our club is willing to help its customers in organizing their holiday by booking accommodation (hotel or guest house), airport transfers, tours throughout the island among others..., also grouping its customers by their leisure preferences.
